Previously, at the Tang Center for Wellness and Rehabilitation: Dr. Jamie Tang was welcomed to town by her local celebrity twin sister and got right to work trying to cure her six nutty patients; Marty Pistachio proved to be the resident Casanova, getting it on with both Dorothy Brazil and Lulu Almond; Jory Pecan showed he'd learned nothing from the Surgeon General's recommendations on spf; Phil Filbert was both tired and hungry for a long time; and we lost our first patient, the adorable but confused Gabby Cashew. Let's see how they're doing as the sun rises on Day 6 of their treatment.

[I didn't actually get all the way through this round. But since I'm not sure when I'll get my computer issues resolved and since I took a bunch of pictures anyway, I thought I'd go ahead and post it as is.]

Up to this point, Tabitha Sweet has been very much a supporting player in the story of Ste-Margo. She originally came to town to help her sister start up the bakery; but then Gemma got married faster than you could spit and had the twins nearly as quickly, and Tabby soon found herself playing babysitter while Gemma and Charlie ran the business without her. Over the years, she's had a few romantic encounters; she's seen her things burgled (repeatedly); and she's been able to earn a little income on the side as an arts & crafts blogger. Mostly, though, she's been in the background, helping out around the Sweet house and being an aunt to her nieces and nephew. Then when the twins became teenagers last fall, Tabby finally decided it was time to set out on her own.

After the struggle it took to get through this round, I feel a little like this snowman... But anyway. We made it. Last time: Gemma and Tabitha''s father, Maximillian, moved to Ste-Margo to serve as dean of the new college; the twins grew up; Tabitha moved out; and her cottage was turned into an extra kitchen for the bakery.

Welcome back to Round 6 with our first new household since Piet grew up. Previously: the town's uni pledge drive drummed up enough funds to begin construction on Ste-Margo Community College, just in time for Penelope to graduate from high school and move into one of the student houses. Also: Jayne narrowly escaped death and left his hideaway on the beach to join his sweetheart for their first semester of college. Let's see how our first class gets on!

When we last saw our founding family, so very, very long ago: Frida successfully spearheaded a fundraising drive for the community college; Penelope grew up and moved out; and everyone had the flu. Now as the town enters its second winter, Frida and Mel are closing in on their empty nest years, and Wim is getting used to being a teen.
