I've been trying to start round 7 at long last, but I can't get the Batavus house to load. (The first row of "loading" lights goes through and then, nothing but an hourglass until I force-quit the game.) The lot folder shows me I last saved the house in June, so let's hope the problem lies in some unnecessary piece of cc I've downloaded since then... :/ Siiiiiiiigghhhhhhh. But I'm trying!

Also, weirdly, clickable neighbors isn't working? Clicking on a house just brings up the message "The ___ family lives here." then a lot of blank space but no sentence about selecting that household to play. Why, game, why?



Problems solved!
Meetme pointed out that clickable neighbors doesn't work if you have a child selected, which is what I'd done; and the Batavus house was being corrupted by a custom bookcase that I had incorrectly updated in SimPE but was able to restore (and correctly update!) from a backup. So, yay, that only took... 2 1/2 hours? Eh, guess it could be worse! Now the question is if I have any energy left to play the game...
