Round 7 (Spring): Asylum Day 11

Let's see what the nuts are up to!

Oh...

Um.

Well...

Yeah...

...
I guess not much has changed.

Lulu: "Doo doo-doo snacks!"
Marty: "Baby!"
Babies: "Mom...?"

L: "Oh yeah grilled cheese! So nice to have time to sit and enjoy a good sandwich with nothing else to worry about or attend to."
Floor babies: "..."
Snowman: *watching* *always watching*

Phil... I do not approve.

Dr. Tang! This is highly inappropriate!

Marvin Almond-Pistachio: "Sup. How's that floor, bro?"
Lenny Almond-Pistachio: "Yo. S'nice, s'nice."
[Handy reminder: Marvin has Marty's skintone and Lenny has Lulu's.]

.

Marty: "Remember that thing we did before? I thought it worked out brilliantly!"

Lulu: "I CONCUR. CONSEQUENCE-FREE FUN FOR ALL."
Floor babies downstairs: "Um..."

Jory picks up on things, even in his sleep. He's sharp like that.

I can't take it anymore and send Jamie Tang over to check up on the babies.

Wouldn't you know it, Phil is right behind her! Good man, Phil.

"Won't someone please think of the children?"
Yes, you did, Phil! Remember? Five minutes ago.

Marty does this alllll night long.

But Lulu keeps coming out to comfort him.

It's sweet, but (let's be honest) perhaps not entirely selfless...

L: "Lalala, seems like a great time to hoop!"

Dorothy looks awfully pleased with herself after having accomplished nothing but moving a baby from his crib to the ground.
Dorothy: "Go me!"

Twinny time! Jamie invites Amy Tang over for a visit.

These two are still fighting all over the place. Dorothy, having put in some solid hours on the exercycle, almost always wins.

Yikes. Don't mess with her!

Heehee! Matching track suits and red lipstick grimaces!

Phil <3

Jamie: "... Aren't you supposed to be getting cleaner right now?"
Lenny's stink cloud: "Surprise!"

Jamie: "I think I'm glad I decided to focus on my career."

Marty: "Hey, look at that baby!"
Marvin: "Daaaaaaaad."

Marty: "Oh, haha, baby! That's hilarious."

"Uggggh no, take it back!!"

Dorothy: "Hey. I thought I TOLD you. I. HATE. YOUR. FACE."

Jory: "Oh yeah? Well guess what—my face hates YOUR FACE AND NOW I'M SLAPPING YOUR FACE SO HOW DO YOUR FACE NOW."

J: "Harrumph." *flexes pecs in triumph*

Phil, are you still standing in the bathroom?
P: "Baby... getting... heavy..."

P: "Ah, that's betterZzz..."

Marty: "Hunnnngggrrrrrryyyyyy!"

"And emotionally unfulfilled!"

"Aaaa but also hungry!"
Stay strong, Marty!

Notes: A shortish post for once, yay! I'm trying imgur for these pictures, but it seems like the issue is with LJ because they're still coming out blurrier even with a different image host. I think it's a conspiracy to get people to use LJ's scrapbook (and upgrade to a paid subscription when they run out of space...), but I realize that I'm probably the only one who's noticing/being bothered by the fact that pictures look blurrier than they should. But it bothers me! Because it didn't used to happen!

Babies?! How did those happen?! No, wait don't answer that!

Laughed so hard at the captions, I almost think you should be documenting this asylum from INSIDE :D

They all look even better than before, those skins are beautiful. But Marty is still not-fat :'( You need to eat more, Marty, and spend less time outside with your cardboard!

Lastly, I hope the other readers join me in demanding a reward for Phil, for taking care of the little ones. Dr Tang seems very willing to provide the reward herself too ^^
Oh and the pics don't look blurry to me ;)

That would be all. FOR NOW.

I know! Marty might have an eating disorder. He just would not do anything about his hunger bar, even though other sims were making food.

Jamie Tang and Phil would be HIGHLY inappropriate! Bad, bad doctors and patients!

You can't see how pretty and sharp my pictures are on my computer—and on Photobucket/imgur themselves! It makes seeing them on LJ look like someone smeared the screen with vaseline. :(

Yay, I'm happy you liked it!

The Tang girls are gorgeoussss. And MAN, I've missed you/this!

Aren't they just? They really know how to work a red lip in a way that I can only dream of someday achieving (but suspect I'll never reach!).

Aw, glad you enjoyed it!

What can I say...Your nuts are as nut as nuts can be! I felt sorry for poor babies the whole time :P But good for Phil to (atleast try) taking care of them! Your comments are as hilarious as always :D

BTW, have you noticed any issues with those Rebecah's one time cribs? I used to use them, but then I couldn't get the babies out of them anymore! Actions just dropped from sims queue :P

Yes on the cribs! I have been noticing that recently—some kind of jump bug when putting in/getting out babies. I've been ignoring it because the cribs are so cute and useful, but I might give up on them...

The babies! Lulu and Marty showed almost no interest in them the entire time! :(

I know, I'm tempted to put that crib back into game since it's so cute but I know I'd get too annoyed because of that bug. :( Luckily Rebecah's freetime cribs (1-tile) work just fine. Do you have them already?

Phil's stock has just skyrocketed. It's arguable that Marty's out there begging for cash to support the babies, but I think he's too far gone.

The more I hear about LJ, the less inclined I am to use it!

I had not considered the possibility that Marty might be extra worried now that he has two babies to support—perhaps on an unconscious level, anyway!

Phil has been kind of quietly awesome, hasn't he? I'd forgotten he was the one who saved Jory (http://i1115.photobucket.com/albums/k559/m-swn/6-3%20asylum/ScreenShot434.jpg) from life as a popsicle. He's always been an enthusiastic attendant (http://i1115.photobucket.com/albums/k559/m-swn/6-3%20asylum/ScreenShot474.jpg) of group therapy; instead of getting embroiled in questionable romantic endeavors, he's taken an interest in the arts (http://i1115.photobucket.com/albums/k559/m-swn/6-2%20Asylum/ScreenShot355.jpg); and he goes above and beyond in his attempts at sharing his food (http://i1115.photobucket.com/albums/k559/m-swn/6-2%20Asylum/day714.jpg) with Jamie Tang. He'll make a fine citizen of Ste-Margo someday, if he manages to complete his stay at the Center without suffering a premature expiration.

As always your commentary makes me laugh, and boy, those babies are lucky for Phil...well, their certainly better off for him being there :)

Thank you so much. :D
I had to keep telling myself that babies can't die in TS2! But yes, it was nice that *someone* seemed to care about them! I'll be curious to see if the kids grow up to have any sort of relationship with their parents (assuming all the remaining patients survive...)!
